Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Breach of Employment agreement

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have entered an agreement with employer who has sponsored my H1B Visa. I have served more than the initial term of 12 months and now planning to move to another firm. But there are some paragraphs in agreement which restricts about the geographical constrains (50 miles) and non-compete, confidentiality etc. Is there any possibility that my current employer sue me for breach of contract if I join its competitor? How far this agreement is legal. I can show my contract agreement .
