Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Denied interview

I had an interview with a large warehouse and when I went to this interview,I was asked to sign a waiver against injury before being allowed into the warehouse for my interview.

I politely refused to sign this as I thought it foolish to sign something releasing the company from any liability if I was injured. So, I wasn't allowed to interview and have no chance at this job now. I'd like to know if it would be alright to sign the waiver or if I have any legal repurcussion for being denied.

Re: Denied interview

They have the right to protect their interests. I don't really feel you have any solid grounds for being denied the interview. If you wish to sign it is your own decision. Your risk!
