Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Mileage and Fuel Allowance

My husband uses his personal vehicle for his job (not just back and forth from work) and is not currently paid for the fuel he uses nor a basic mileage salary. Are either of these required by law when you use your personal vehicle for work purposes?

If he is using his vehicle for work purposes, he should discuss a payment plan with his employer, otherwise there is no legal remedy for the usage of a personal vehicle.
