Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

noncompete

I signed a noncompete when I accepted my position in 6/08 for a franchise. Am interested in working for a company that provides much more services than my current company, however there is some identical services. My noncompete says I cannot work for 2 years for a co. that is of a character or concept of my cuurent employer or is intended to be within 25 miles of ANY franchise OR which business provides the same type of services as my employer's franchise. Isn't this too overly broad of a contract in IL? The company I am considering has a total of 6 companies so could I work under a noncompeting company without any issues? Thanks!
