Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I am paid on a 1099 R .I am employed as a salesman.I am told my manager can decide where and to whom i may sell.He also shares an account wiyh me and will not remove him self from the account.He has sent an E-Mail to the CEO and V.P. of sales stating that he has told me that if i desired a new career he could arrange it.He gets on accounts fires the rep and keeps the accounts.Am i an Employee or an independent?

A 1099-R is usually used to evidence a payment from a retirement or annuity account. Payments made on 1099s are not considered employee wages.
