Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

vacation

I am working as a commission sales person. Last yr I went on a month vacation with my my suprvisors approval( I have the approval with me in writing) Before I went on my vacation I was told I have 37 hours of vacation coming. Any way to my surprise, when i returned from my vacation I was told that I need to start as a new hire and i lost all my seniority and I got only paid 19.50 hrs of vacation.I s this a violation ? Can I sue my employer for this violation?

Re: vacation

To help deal with this it would be relevant to look at a contract which you may have had, to see what is said there about seniority.
