Can a landlord have a number of real estate agents come into the rental property while the tenant is not there? Who is reponsible if something goes missing?

Re: Landlord allowing others to enter rental property.

Greetings - My answer is NO! The landlord should get your permission to enter or have someone else enter your apartment while you are not there. This is trespass and you probably have a good lawsuit, and you can file a police report and take it to the State's Attorney. The Office of the State's Attorney may decide to bring criminal charges against the landlord and/or the real estate agents. There is a five step approach to resolving this matter to your

advantage!
