injury to an infant

when i was giving birth to my newborn her vocal cords where paralysed and i don't know if it was because of the person that delievered my daughter. i was wondering how long was the statue of limiations

Instead of worrying about the statute of limitations, you should be hiring an attorney asap so that a proper investigation can be performed before the evidence, records and witnesses get stale.

Usually, medical malpractice has a statute of limitation of 2 years from the date of the incident but no more than 4 years after that time.

You should get all the medical records and charts and have an attorney review the material to see whether there was a medical malpractice.

If so, then there is a cause of Action.
