Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Culvers

I was hurt in a slip and fall at Culvers. I was told they would pay and now they won't. I filed small claims and when the court date came they filed for a dissmals because I didn't fill out the report for a claim that they could answer. This is my first time doing this and I put reason for suing slip and fall. The judge told me to think it over and gave me a new court date. What can I do so I don't loose my case. I am not sure what the next step is. I sent a letter to the lawyer very detailed of what happen and the medical bills and time off from work that I want back. I am not sure what I can do next? Please help.

Thanks

Heather

Heather:

You are in over your head if Culvers has an attorney. A slip and fall is one of the toughest cases to prove. You should get yourself an attorney as soon as you can.
