Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

My daughter who is a minor was in an accident in her half sisters car, her half sister has no valid drivers license and her boyfriend dosn't either. The car is in her Mothers name and she does have insurance. I did not have car insurance at the time. I had told my daughter I did not want her driving. My daughter got a ticket and so did the other guy for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The guy she got in the accident with said that he was on alot of medication. Who is responsible for the accident.

Based on the information provided, who knows. However, the facts that your daughter received a ticket and did not have license does not mean she was at fault. Please repost with the facts of the occurrence.

I agree w/Mr. Padove. We need to know who was driving the car. As a general rule, a passenger will negligence free.
