In terms of civil liabilities, the night club may have been negligent and may also be liable under the Dram Shop Act.

Re: Night Club Shooting

You do not provide enough information as to what you mean by your question.

Ramifications for whom?

Who did the shooting?

Why the shotting occurred?

Were the people doing the shooting drunk? or under influence? If so, how and where they got drunk or became under influence?

What the bystander was doing at the time of the shooting?

What are the damages? How badly the person shot is hurt?

etc...etc...etc...

It is simply impossible to provide you with any reasonable response without more detail.

Re: Night Club Shooting

The victim may be entitled to compensation from either the shooter and/or the night club, however it depends on many factors that were not included in your question. Please feel free to contact our office should you wish to further discuss this issue.
