My condo association wants to levy a special assessment for tuck-pointing the walls around their private patio doors. I have the ground floor commercial space which has no access or enjoyment of the patio. Are these walls a limited common element according to this definition in our docs? ""Units serving only such unit or units, balconies, patios and such portions of the perimeter walls, floors ceilings, doors, vestibules, windows and entryways, and all associated fixtures and structures therein, as lie outside the Unit boundaries as shown on the Plat but which serve exclusively a single unit or adjoining units, as aforesaid."

It sounds like they are limited common elements. However, the association has a duty to maintain limited common elements as well.
