Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Condominium assessments

I have a condo and in the master bathroom, we are not getting hot water. The management says I have to pay to get the hotwater running in that bathroom. Shouldn't this be covered in my month assessment cost?

Re: Condominium assessments

Unless for some reason you pay for hot water separately, the management is full of...hot air. Maybe next they'll ask you to pay every time you use the stairs (that's a bad joke, by the way).

No, they actually owe you hot water unless, like I said, there's always a separate charge for hot water (e.g., you pay for gas and you haven't paid your bill).
