Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Countersuit

I was sued by a women who bought my old home. She sued me for foundation cracks that were undisclosed. She lost the case. In that time, she sent me to court three times causing me to miss work and my wife to get a sitter for the children, not to mention all of the stress. Is there grounds for a countersuit here, or am I just out my work time and other monies?

Re: Countersuit

Unfortunately, you are out of luck. Illinois law does not recognize those losses unless there was a clause in the sale contract concerning litigation and reimbursement of expenses , etc.
