Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Home buyers rights

So does the holding company for a repo home have a certain amount of time to complete the transaction?

I'm buying a reposed home and the holding bank has

not sent my bank a contract. They seem to be dragging their feet. We have already passed one closing date and the second closing date is July 25 2003. They have cashed the $1000.00 escrow, so the holding bank has accepted the my offer. Do I have any rights?

Re: Home buyers rights

The closing date should be on the contract and your rights should also be spelled out in the contract. You should have an attorney regardless to deal with such issues.
