Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Property Options

I have had nothing but problems with my neighbors since they bought the house west of me. The problem is property line dispute. To end this we had our property surveyed and when that was done I found out that about 3ft. of the house and driveway is on my property. The neighbors refuse to talk about to me about anything. What are some of my options about their house being on my property? Can I make them move or maybe sell them an easement? I am wanting to put up a fence in the future and where can I put it?

Re: Property Options

This all depends on how long the driveway and house has been there - the problem is that most courts will not force a neighbor to tear up their drive or house because you stood by and watched them being built. There are many more problems with your facts but an attorney would need a lot more information before giving you an opinion.
