Property Line Dispute

My neighbor of 4 years is claiming about 6-8 feet of my property as ''his'' including my mature bushes that I planted 25 years ago -- inside my property line. Do I need to do anything to ''prove'' my ownership or should I just continue to use the property as I always have? I just found out about his thinking when a tree on my property fell and I was going to remove it and he said the tree is ''his''.

You should consider filing a suit to quiet title. Talk over your options with a local attorney.
