can we stop Www.earth.com from posting a picture of our home on the internet?

Do you mean Google Earth? Eaarth.com seems to be an index site.

Anyway, my feeling is that the answer would be no. There is no expectation of privacy. Someone can drive down the street or fly over your (or my) house and see it. Zillow posts houses and how much they sell for - that information is printed in the newspaper, so they are violating nothing. Suburbs where I live enforce zoning and building permit laws by flying helicopters over them. The Federal Gevennment flies over fields to enforce drug laws.

So as long as they don't attach an name or phone number they are OK. I have seen places where the end of the driveway farthest from the street has been blurred. You can inquire about that. Of course, you can inquire about anything.
