Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Illinois

My husband was accused of sexual harrassment on his job, and was subsequently fired. The company will not release any information to him as to when this happened or who his accuser is. All they would tell him is that he could give them a statement. We would like to know if he has any legal recourse in this matter. We don't know how they think he can make a statement about this if he doesn't even know when it was to have happened! The only thing he can say is that it did not!

This is not an uncommon situation. However, employees who have been terminated for false allegations of sexual harassment are fighting back and with some success. Your husband's best recourse is to connect with an employment attorney who has experience in this area of the law.
