No will left after my sister die who inherete the home
My question is abot a home left after my sister past away who gets what my brother in law till alive,and thire three kides. Are the kide hve any part on the home she left after she die. Thanks for you help

Hello. The home was probably held in joint
tenancy with right of survivorship. Assuming
that is the case, your brother-in-law takes the
home free and clear. If the home was your sisters before she and your brother-in-law were
married, then he takes 1/3 and the 3 kids take
2/3, assuming there was no will. I suggests that
you have a title search done, if you are unsure
about how title to the house was held, before
your sister passed. Naturally, if there is a
mortgage only in your sister's name, that's an
issue as well. I will be happy to answer any
