last will and testament

My grandfather died several years ago, all the grandchildren were to receive a certain amount of money. I believe I am the only grandchild that did not receive their inheritence, I was over the age of 18 at the tiome, my mother told the executor to with hold the money, how can I get what is rightfully mine

Hello and Happy New Year. I suggests that you hire an Illinois lawyer to determine whether your inheritance was deposited with the County Clerk. Since you were over 18, there was no

basis for your money being withheld. If the judge had known about this, he

may have held the executor in contempt of court. Will be happy to discuss this with you further and in more detail.
