i received a mail saying that i have won a free vacation and free air tickets, i paid the processing amount through my credit card, the amount(20 $) was debited from my card and after submitting the form(on the net itself) it said i will receive the certificates for the same in 3 weeks time, it more then 5 weeks now , ihavent received the certificates, iwrote a mail to them asking for the explainetion for the delay in receiving the certificates but dint get a reply, now what m i supposed to do? how can i sue the vebsite? where do i complain and what is the possible acction can be taken against the websitr

The net is full of sites that promise a lot and dont pay. Do not get tricked again.

You can write again to the website with cc Federal Trade Commission if the site is based in U.S. You can sue them if they are in U.S but the process is so expensive that people will simply forget $20. In several places in U.S car parking fee is about $12. Attorney consultation normally will be about $100 per hour.

You can also write again to the website that if they do not send the tickets to you or refund you, you will write about them to www.scambusters.org

$20 is almost Rs.1000/-. You could have easily donated it to an orphnage in our country. Do not go in for free things again from unknown websites which are never free.
