Airtel FRAUD

I bought an airtel prepaid connection in aug 2006 under special scheme in my college under which sms all over india was 30 paise and local call rates from airtel to airtel after 11 pm were 10 paise per minute. I recharged my mobile with Rs 1947/- (balance-rs 1947 and validity-1947 days) on 14th aug 2008. But instead of giving me a validity of 1947 days they converted my connection into LIFETIME and thus all the special rates (30 paise sms and 10 paise night calling) were terminated. I told my problem to customer care many times, but they are not helping me out. Please tell me what further action can I take against them.

You should inform them of your problem in writing, send a demand notice and ask for written assurance of the plans they have promised; if they do not agree, you should terminate the relationship after settling their account.

u may file consumer case and also case for cheating in criminal court
