Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

I booked a ford fiesta car for approx.6 lakhs of the colour sea grey.The delivery was to be given on 6 dec.09 but today only the car dealer said that the choice colour can't be provided due to thier mistake.Now I want to file a case against the dealer.So,I wanted to know about the concerned laws in this case and also how much compensation I can claim for this harassment? I also want to know the amount I would need to spend for fighting this case.I am based at Ambala Cantt,Haryana.

First u have to write registered letter and legal notice for the same then you have to approach consumer court and u may demand as per ur status and local lawyer will guide u properly. about the amount fore filing depends upon your councel u engage.

Please go throuh the booking term if any, and read the detailed condition and forced

measure if any. Do you have any agreement document? Do you feel this their willful

misconduct or are they in a compelling situation. Depending upon the situation your

lawyer shall guide you. Normally you are eligible to get the vehicle of your choice and

claim for compensation in default under standard condition.
