Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

I want to calculate the compensation amount that I can claim against a mobile service provider who has caused a lot of inconvenience . They have lapsed my balance before the actual expiry date reducing it to zero suddenly without any prior information.They have shown lack of customer care service , as I have never got a proper response from customer care side , I have called them more than 20 times waisting my hours of time and also have written 10 mails on which no body replied again wastage of my time. Many a times I had left all my priority work and make a call to customer care to resolve the issue. I need compensation for the harassement , incovenience , trouble and loss due to this issue. When I have escalated the issue to their nodal and appealate authoriy through the mail , no body replied. I have already waited for more than 2 months . I am now going to file a case in consumer court by my own , how much compensation shall I ask ?

Think before you take any actions.

Many of your claims are morally true, but maybe legally difficult to prove.

You might end up paying more in legal costs than you might gain.

Direct action might be a more effective way to get compensation: publish a blog (website) with your experiences, and invite other unsatisfied consumers tot post their experiences on your blog.
