Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

Sir, we had booked a flat in Vasai and paid a token after entering into a MOU. Earlier we were told that the papers are in order, but later the owner did not have a OC for the building and so we decided not to go about with it. Now the owner is not returning the token amount. We have served personal as well as legal notice on the owner, the society and the brokers assocaition where the broker is regd (through whom we entered into teh deal). Please advice.

Selling a flat without having OC is a cheating case and you can get your money back with 12-18% interest. Please lodge a consumer complaint agaist them.
