Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Sir..my dad has debts of 20 lak.We are not in position to clear off. Dont have any sort of property at all. Recently one creditor files a case against my dad. Can he put IP now? Will putting IP solve the problem? Pls let us know what is IP means and in what situation it can be put?

i think it is not IP but AB that means anticipatory bail.
