There are no amendments to NI Act within the last 5 years. There is no such proposal. What has been done is to repeal the amending act, which is not of no consequence whatsoever, in view of provisions of the General Clauses Act. It appears that there is a confusion that since the Amending Act is repealed, there is no offence u/s 138 henceforth. this is a very erroneous view.
