Can I apply for a government job, whereas I am on bail in connection with false dowry death case?

You can apply for a govt. job as till date there is no conviction at all

you can apply for the job but when you would be selected, you would have to disclose that a criminal case is pending against you. it is advisable that before suchlike situation comes, settle your matter with your wife. may be she come back after you become a government employee.

You are not barred from applying for govt job.How ever confirmation will depend on the outcome of the case
