Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

I was lookin for some help.me and my X-bf were into a relationship for 5 1/2 yrs..we were supposed to get married in a year's tym.in nov 2010 we both bought a house togethr.but because we were not married we couldn't take a joint loan.apparently he took a housin loan from d bank..we bought the house for 21 lakhs.but on the agreement it showed 18 1/2 lakhs. Rs.280000 I paid the owner in black..and didn't take anyting in writing.and thn we both hd paid for the transfer fees and the other fees. I moved into the house.but he wasn't ready to move in with me because his parents wouldn't allow him.so he used to come home to stay wid me sumtyms, but couldn't permanantly move in with me.we broke up 7months back.lyk decided between us ,I tld him to sell d flat n to divide the money..but now he refuses to do that.he is sayin that the house is in his name and I shud leve and he'l jst gv me the 3lakhs bck.

Nw this was an investment for both of us.idealy as decided the house shud b divided. But because he has taken d house on his name,he is takin advantage of it.he isn't ready to sell off the flat or give me more than 3lakhs.and nw his parents n sister r pressurising me to leve the house.

I need to knw wat my options are.can I legally file a case against him for the half share of the property or what can I do?

you may see a lawyer and explain all the facts to him and show all the documents available and civil remedy by way of injunction, declaration, partition or recovery may be suggested after perusing your documents.
