Marry with Muslim Girl

Respected Sir,

I am 26 years old Hindu male residing in Tamil Nadu, India and want to marry with 20 years Muslim girl. Both of our families are not ready for that, so we decide to get marriage and register.

Is it legal?

Kindly give me suitable answer and way to get register?

Yes it is legal. Get it registered under the Special Marriage Act. Please consult a local lawyer.

yes, the proposed marriage is legal. you may go ahead.

You should get married under Special Marriage Act. The marriage is automatically registered since it is ceremonised in the court; the court issues a certificate which is more than a Registeration Certificate. This may take about a month or so because a notice is first issued by the court to general public inviting objections about the proposed marriage.
