I am the eldest daughter divorceed twice,married for third time and financially bit broken,husband pledged my gold ornaments for which my parents are not supporting morally,financially,they abuse me and my husband a lot.Can u please help me

You are entitled to claim maintenance from your husband. Against abuses by anyone, you are entitled to pursue your remedies under Domestic Violence Act.

The main concern would be to know in what manner you are seeking the help and against whom.� the domestic violence act applies only where a women is in share household with any man.� I assume your parents who are abusive to you and your husband are not sharing a household with you.� If that be so, your remedy will lie in Indian Penal Code against parents, if you so desire.� Husband could have pleadged the ornaments, if you had given me an authority to do so.� If you had not, you can always seek redemption of your ornaments. if you want, you may seek compensation from your husband under the domestic violence act.
