Recording of Oral sayings of the wife.(Purshis)

I have heard that during the hearing in the matrimonal cases when a party makes a oral statement in front of the judge we can get it recorded in case by filing purushis on the same day(by sticking 15 Rs court fee stamp). Is this true? If so under under section of CPC is Purushis allowed and can be filed?

You may obtain a copy of your statement made in court. The statement may be supplied to you by the copying agency on payment of usual charges as per High Court Rules and Orders.
