Legal Question in Family Law in India

Will it be right to go for a visitation & partial custodial rights for my 14yrs daughter. If so how much time will it take for the proceedings?

as far as visitation rights are concerned, the courts would order the rights after the opposite files the reply and both the lawyers argue the application....say 2 to 3 hearings. i do not know what is partial custody.
