i have won divorce case filed by me in district court u/s 13 (1)(1a) of hma on the basis of mental cruelty commited by my wife upon me. already 3 years have elapsed before winning the case . now wife threatens to go for appeal in high court .please suggest some legal remedy to stop her from filing appeal in high court. previous answer given by you is not complete

Dear Friend,

If you read the latest news, the Supreme Court in India has directed all State High Courts to expedite judgements related to divorce, to avoid important years of sharing conjugal and sexual reproductive rights between husband and wife, just go by.

If you have already won the divorce case and the District Magistrate Court / City Civil Court decree has already been issued that does not restrain you from getting married again, search for a partner and straightaway go ahead and get married again. Teach your ex-wife a lesson - let her go and do whatever she wishes to.

You cannot afford to remain confused and try to keep your leg on two stones at the same time. You need to be firm and make up your mind.
