Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Hi,I am a 28 year old muslim from kerala.My father passed away 5 years before, leaving a commercial rented property and my house.Now according to the law there are 8 legal heirs ,i.e 4 sons,1 mother,1 wife, 2 daughters.I just wanted to know how is it going to get divided amongst us according to sharia law.Suppose if we sell it and get 10 lakhs.then how is it going to get divided.I have tried other websites and didnt help much.

All you legal heirs would get 1/8th of 10 lacs each.
