Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

I have my Salary Account in HDFC Bank ,however to my Surprise I get to know that my Salary was blocked by their Credit Card Division due to some Credit Card payment issues which I am not aware of..I have surrendered all my Cards in year 2007 and suddenly from nowhere they have come out and torturing me like this...Please help me out as what can i do in this case and how can I get my salary released by these goons.

In these 3 years I have even forgotten the Card number and other details..Now the Salary Account has just opened a month back..so I am confused how can they hold an account which was not in existence at the time of signing the Credit Card Form...is it valid and legal..

As the Bank and the Credit Card company is from the same group they have blocked your account. Write a letter to the Credit Card Division and HDFC Bank enclosing the surrendered card proofs and ask them to unblock your account. If they do not oblige, send a legal notice to Credit Card Dept., Bank and Banking Ombudsman stating narrating the above facts. If no action is taken file a consumer complaint against the Bank and the Credit Card Company.
