Legal Question in Insurance Law in India
claim for the insurance
Respected Sir/Madam,
My son had purchased an insurance policy. My grandson was the nominee who is of 1 year old now and I�m the appointee. My son expired due to Heart attack. After that, my daughter-in-law is not willing to stay with us and she went to her parents with my grandson. The insurance company have settled the claim to me as I was the appointee. But my daughter-in is demanding this money. Does she have any rights over this money.

yes. She and her son being class one legal heir are entitled to their share.
