Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hi,
I have worked with Oracle Inc for 5 years.
I resigned recently.
Oracle had to pay out bonus for previous year to its employees which it delayed for like 4 months.
Payout was suppose to be in April but was done in July months salary.
i resigned oracle on 23th july 2011 so hence i was not given the bonus.
as per basic laws this bonus was was for previous year which i worked for oracle and should be eligible to recieve it.
oracle has refused to pay me my bonus.
should i file a case against them am i eligible to get my bonus.
i wanted to consult before taking any step.

you may file a suit for recovery against oracle.
