Legal Question in Employment Law in India

My real uncle passed away in September 2012 in Lucknow. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son. One daughter is married and settled in Mumbai. Son is still studying engineering second year in Noida. Other daughter who is unmarried is working as Probationary officer (management cadre) with Karur Vysya Bank in Ahmedabad (named Divya hereafter).

I along with my family are all settled in Delhi. Hence Divya has to take responsibilities and charge of the family (mother who is medically not fit and studying brother in Noida). Towards this Divya has been requesting Karur Vysya bank management and H.R. department for transfer from Ahmedabad to Lucknow.

But the bank is refusing to honor this humanitarian plea and almost forcing Divya to hence quit.

I wanted to understand how can law help Divya and are there any laws around this which can ensure that Divya gets this basic justice around humanitarian consideration which ensures transfer from ahmedabad to lucknow.

thanks

Ritesh Srivastava (cousin brother of Divya)

transfer is a decision that can be taken by the management of Karu Vysya Bank. you may meet the official in this concern and explain them the situation for the speedy transfer.

Karu Vyas Bank is not a nationalized bank and i believe that no writ petition could be moved against it. However you could move against the RBI which governs all private banks. See if it helps.
