Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
our building is in a damaged condition. BMC has allready given notice to landlord to repair it immediatly. land lord has disputes with his brother & case is going on at Bombay Hight court. i want to know if all tenant in a building go to court & pray to court to transfer tenancy in ownership & we ourself will repair the building.

you can go to court to order the landlord to do repair.

You can approach the court for direction to repair the building on your own. But you cannot pray for transfer of ownership. It is based on various factors and as per law.
