Re: Change of Surname

A letter may be written to authorities regarding the change of name and address, as well. So far as the change of title is concerned against immovable property documents, tell us in whose name it is already exists? When a flat (immovable property) is bought, it follows the name of its purchaser. Give some more detail so that your query may be replied accordingly.

Surname is not required to be changed in case of immovable property. It follows father name which is sufficient to prove ownership.

Re: Change of Surname

Your statement is incomplete. You have not mentioned in whose favour you want to change the title ?

If you are a female and wanting to add your changed surname, you may make an application to the authorities concerned. However, you should get your name changed also in other official records by making appropriate applications.
