Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My father was purchased a plot 12 years back in a village of Andhra Pradesh, but there is no construction took place till date. 5 years back we built boundary wall of 2 feet for security purpose in order to avoid any illegal occupy. My query is we did not paid any tax or any other till now, because of no construction. But we came to know that we should have to pay the tax every year on the plot. Is it true , if so, what should we do, please suggest.

what u have heard is true now immediately pay the entire tax till date, u might have to pay some penalty that's all

You are suppose to pay Property tax .

Land Revenue is payable on land every year.
