transfer of property

my father is the registered owner of house property.The said property was given on monthly rent of rs 500.The tenent is paying property tax since last 30 years.Can the tenent claim the property on grounds of property tax receipts.

In my opinion, your facts are incomplete to answer your specifice question. In answer to all what you have stated, the tenant cannot claim ownership, simply because he had been paying the tax on property. if you further want to quench your thirst, i would need to know the kind of rent agreement you have; whether or not you had been claiming rent; whether or not rent being paid in addition to property tax; how much is the annual tax etc..

It will depend on whether the tenant has been consistently paying the said rent to the landlord. If the tenant is paying the rent, then the tenant cannot cliam any propreitory rights. However, no rent id being paid, and the landlord has taken no action against the tenant, then the tenant may claim such rights. However, please give more details.
