Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have given a xerox of my 7/12 extract to an agent to sell my plot. I need to know if the agent can misuse the xerox, have i made a mistake by giving this xerox to an unknown agent and if so what corrective measures can i take to safeguard my interests. purva

If you want to sell the plot you need to give the xerox so that the agent could show it to the party. Don't worry, if you have the original.
