Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
We are based in Mumbai India. Father expired in the year 2005. WILL made in favour of mother on a piece of paper a few days before his death. But WILL never executed nor Probated.
Question:
Can i seek rights in the assets and properties of my father.
In a city like Mumbai India is Probate of a WILL compluslory.
and is there a time limit for probation of a WILL.

If you feel the will is a forged one or your father was not in a position to give anything to your mother or you feel that you should not have been left out in the will. You can challenge the will on various grounds and reasons . If the there is a dispute amongst the so called beneficiaries then probate is must otherwise no.
