Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My father prepared a will on his house property earned by him in my name. The lower portion was willed to me and the upper portion to my sister. Now he wants to make a settlement in favor of me of the entire property. Can he revoke the will and prepare a settlement document. What is the procedure involved. Whether public notice in newspaper need to be given?

If the property is in your name then you are the owner and not your Dad . The source of funds to buy property is not important. So therefore your father cannot will this property to anyone as you remain the absolute owner of the same.
