Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

My husband found out hes 7 Felonies ...

Before we knew about this a Detective came to are house. It was about a Co-Sign lease that my Husbands dad Co-Sign for us so we could get a Townhouse (we had to move because my husband got a new job). And he told us about 2 credit cards that were signed up under his dads name. My Husband lost his Job and when his dad found out hes trying to get out of the lease. And one of the credit cards he gave us so we would have money to move. The other credit card we don't have a clue where it came from. So, he called the police and a detective and said he didn't sign as a co-signer lease or the credit cards. But he did. How else did we get his Information. My husbands dad is a twit and only thinks about himself. Anyway we told the detective all we knew. And told him that his dad is a Habitual Liar. He has been in prison for forgery. He stole prescription pads and used them. And he draws a crazy check and lies about what he owns so he can get a S.S check each month. After the detective left we didn't hear from him. We were evicted from our apartment because My husband lost his job and we didn't have any money. Well, once my husband had an a court date for un-employment his lawyer told him that he had 7 felonies. What do we do ??

Re: My husband found out hes 7 Felonies ...

If your husband does not believe that he has any felony convictions, he should ask the lawyer for the case numbers and counties for each of the felonies and then review the files. If necessary, you may have to have his fingerprints taken and then compared with the fingerprints taken from the person(s) charged in the felony cases.

If the fingerprints in all seven cases match each other, but not your husband, then it would appear that someone has been using your husband's name when he is charged with a crime. That, of course, is a crime in and of itself, and warrants reporting to the appropriate law enforcement authority.
