child support

i received a letter from my ex-wife wanting child support for my child. i dont have a problem with paying that i have a problem with the fact that in the last 10 years she has moved 6 times. back in 2003 i needed to update my passport for work and it was denied in trying to get it taken care of i had found out that my ex-wife had moved from the state of TX and any money i had owed was no longer. now i am getting a letter saying i owe her $80000 past due what can i due
