Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My ex husband and I agreed to end his child support payments permenanetly and I can get to claim our child every year for taxes. Would both of us signing a notorized document of some sort be sufficient and not have legal repercussions on either one of us?

Do NOT do this without a lawyer. It can be done, but it is not as simple as you think, and can have some legal repercussions down the line if it is not done correctly. Get a lawyer in your area who has expertise in child support issues.

No it would not be sufficient. You must have a court order.
